Guide · AI Website Assistants
What can an AI assistant on my website do?
It talks or types with your visitors, answers their questions from what you tell it about your business, and books them in. It says it's an AI before every conversation and sends you a summary afterwards.
What a visitor sees
- A visitor taps the assistant on your site.
- A short notice says it's an AI assistant and that the conversation is recorded. The visitor chooses to go on.
- They talk out loud or type; it answers from the information you've approved.
- When they're ready, it books them in or takes their details.
- You get a summary of the conversation in your inbox.
Questions
How is it different from a chatbot pop-up?
Visitors can talk to it out loud as well as type, and it answers from your own business information rather than a fixed menu of buttons.
Does it slow my website down?
It doesn't have to. Ours loads its conversation code only when a visitor opens it, so the page itself stays quick.
Does it tell visitors it's an AI?
Yes. Before every conversation a short notice says it's an AI assistant and that the conversation is recorded, and visitors can say no.
What does it need from me?
The information you want it to share, such as services, hours, areas and common questions, plus the calendar it books into and the inbox where summaries go.
Can I try one first?
Yes. Talk to Stella or message her on our homepage. She works the same way.
